William Man, a native of England, joined the American Schooner Joachina y Ada, Captain Hayes, a native of Cleveland Ohio USA, in April 1875 at Guam. Shortly after joining, the vessel took her nephew on board as passengers.
A woman and ... on board as passengers. The vessel then went and anchored off the north Point of the Island. While there 9 Spanish convicts and 5 Manila men came on board.
One convict and Captain Hayes had a quarrel which led to the Convict going on shore. On the 3rd day after anchoring at north Point
